The Tulsa zoo has to be one of my family's favorite things to do. We will take a nice Saturday and make a day of it and it is no wonder that the Tulsa zoo was voted America's favorite zoo.

Be watching soon for pictures and special walkthrough based on our experiences at Mohawk park where the zoo is located.

My family and I are Tulsa Zoo Friends members and enjoy being able to go anytime of the year without having to pay the fees everytime we go. We also enjoy free parking and other perks throughout the year.

Zoo hours are as follows:

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily
Closed third Friday in June
& Christmas Day

Zoo Admission Fees:

Adults: $6.04
Ages 55+: $4.03
Ages 3-11: $3.02
Ages 2 & under Free
Zoo Friends Members Free

 

Zoo Train & Carousel
Tokens = $1 each
Carousel = 2 tokens
Train (one-way) = 1 token
Train (roundtrip) = 2 tokens
Weekdays 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (weather permitting)
Sat/Sun 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting)

Stollers & Wagons
Strollers $3.00
Wagons $5.00
Safari Jeeps $7.00 (holds 2)

 

Reduced Admission Days:

"Thank You" Tulsa Day – first Saturday in August (Free day at the zoo)
Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Grandparent's Day (1/2 price admission for everyone)

 

Special Group Rates:

Groups of 25 or more paying guests can enter the zoo for half-price during regular zoo operating hours.
